Agreed, that's what I was originally hoping for. It's bad enough they will usually try to low ball you when they show up to pick up your items as well!

This question comes up a lot and it really depends on who the person is. Some people enjoy the coaching and helping others and put a price on it to limit the amount of people and only bring in those who are committed. Others want to expand to consulting and their own product creations. Lots of opportunities either way. Building your own brand is more valuable than continually pushing CPA offers over time, which is why many successful people move into coaching.

I've been with Amazon forever too and it's crazy to think what would have been possible if I strictly focused on building quality sites around their products.

I have a few sites. It really comes down to making sure they are great content and very tight in topic. I can still get some of them to rank pretty well.

I've also seen a lot of people talking about Skimlinks and some of the other contextual networks. Lots of different ways to make money with niche sites outside of just Amazon and Adsense.
