Congratulations to Connor on his performance! And although I'm sure you'd prefer it hadn't played out this way, congratulations for earning your Man Card! Does this mean you get to control the remote? :-P

I hear you! I don't think I'd want to share a cab with Ellis, myself.

We're having gloriously unseasonal weather here too. It sounds like your grandmother had a wonderful birthday!

I'm sorry Halloween was a let-down. :-( Enjoy the cider and ale!

You have a great list! I really want to see The Little Stranger and The Woman in White.

I read both books and saw both movies, and I voted for Bateman too. Lecter is a stereotypical psychopath, smart, calculating and charming. Bateman is the kind of person you'd dismiss. He would fly under the radar -- I think that makes him more dangerous. I agree with your point, too.

Excellent review, Michelle! My review was less in-depth, but my reaction to the novel is similar to yours.

Nice pick! High Fidelity was a fun movie, and while I'm not generally a fan of Jack Black, he made a good music loving sidekick. :-)

"I'm still hoping it's talent and not the fact that Ellis himself is a psychopath. " I've been thinking the same thing. ;-)
