Nicole, I can't tell you how happy you made me by sharing that the Ergo hood can hold yarn! I'm due with my second baby boy in just a few months and am so afraid I will lose all my knitting/sewing time with two little boys! I just told my husband about this and he laughed - because he knows how giddy it made me! Thanks for sharing!

On a knitting note, I love the yarn you used for L's hat - care to share what it is? It is lovely and very boyish (which can be hard to find!)

thanks!

Frog Lake is one of my very favorite of the Alpine lakes on Mt. Hood. In the summer it is glorious, but in the fall it definitely shines in its beauty. So happy you were able to enjoy a lovely day on the lake.

Good Morning! I am a fellow Portland Mama of one with another on the way and am constantly trying to fit in health conscious and delicious and budget friendly meals into the tummies of my boys. Your blog is very inspiring to me and I really enjoy reading it daily. This giveaway is very generous and I would love to try it. The noodles dish looks delish! And the fruit leathers look amazing! I would love to try them out.

While I am fairly new knitter, I would love to give this a shot for my upcoming new arrival! What a sweet giveaway!

Nicole,
I also live in Portland and was wondering if you had ever tried making your own yogurt? We've been making yogurt for about five years now and it comes out much, much cheaper than buying the ready made kind. We use a yogurt inubator from Kitchen Kaboodle and New Season's Market sells the yogourmet yogurt starter to get you started. With a quart of milk you get about 7 six ounce jars of yogurt. I believe it's healthier and tastes much, much better than the store bought stuff (even if Nancy's is yummy!)
