I agree with you- NO THANKS! I do not want to do those years over. The math alone nearly killed me the first time around. LOL Most of my high school years were spent in the smoking section. I never knew if my teachers smoked, but I sure did. Gave it up after college though and have never looked back. :)

I've been thinking lately that I'd like to have a rocking chair again. I miss the days of rocking littles. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease for all involved. My granddaddy had it and it was just heart wrenching. Not to mention exhausting for my grandmother. I'll continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I finally figured out what the problem was with commenting! It was Ghostery. It had blocked it. I like having protection but sometime I have to go in and seem what it is they are protecting me from. Your tale is wonderful! What a fantastic trip to take with your mother. Ew. A hair in the sandwich? I hate that! Please keep us posted about her condition. I'll keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers.

Your friend sounds just wonderful. My cousin knows where my childhood BFF is so I suppose I will contact her and catch up. She lives in the big city just north of our little town. It was a move by my family that closed the door on our friendship too. Though I am certain that she was a much better friend to me than I was to her and that would probably have severed our ties had the move not.

Oh, shoot! I should have told about my best friend. I was concentrating so much on getting the school right, I forgot anything else. Haha! I love this meme so much! I love writing about my memories but I love reading other's even more! This is great!
