I fear in a year or two, A-Rod will be in need of a trade to the Pirates like AJ. The problem is, if he continues his quick decline no one will want him. Meanwhile guys who produce AND bring something to the club house like Swish are likely going to be let go at the end of the year. Sigh

I think (and I could totally be wrong) it's Leon-is. Maybe the i is pronounced slightly more like an "E" than an "I"

The Yankees are definitely pulling together pieces to get them through the first half aren't they? I could see them trying a number of different things until it works out. It also stops them from putting too many innings on Nova's arm.

The one knock I'd make against his batting average is that it came in fewer at bats (518 compared to Cano's 626). That can drive an average up.
