I love this post. I agree with you completely. I've had people who've commented that they didn't like books that I wrote positive reviews for. They weren't mean about it, they just said that it didn't work for them. That's fine. I responded that I was sorry it didn't work for them. Luckily, there are a ton of books and authors out there because there are a ton of different readers. We all have different tastes. I don't like historical romances, that doesn't mean that they're bad, it just means that they aren't my cup of tea. I do like some pretty dark romances from PNR and romantic suspense. If you don't like it, it doesn't mean you're wrong. There is plenty of choices for all of us. There is no reason to shame anyone for something they like.

I have to agree with you about the grammar in the blurb. If you can't proof that, how well are you going to proof the actual book. I also agree with you about gifs in reviews. I don't mind one every now and then, but people who like to write the entire review in gif format, that'll be a nope. I should be able to hide images and still read the review. Great post.

This is such a fun series. I just love Judd to pieces. Ashaya is another character who I really enjoy. It is fun to revisit this series as we come up to Allegiance of Honor.

I've been wanting to try this series. I love the covers. You are not the first person who I saw who had issues with this book. I'm also not a fan of the idea of a spin off of a spin off. Sorry this didn't work out for you.

I don't stock pile books if I can help it. I'm cheap. I will buy a book if I know it is on sale and I know I'm going to read it and the price is going back up. I also always check my library first to see if they have it available before I buy, so I can save the dollars there if I can. All of that being said, I do probably have 20 or so books that I've bought that I've yet to read. Then there are freebies (both ebooks and physical books from cons and giveaways). I have a ton of audiobooks that I've yet to read too. Once again, sales that I've bought but have listened yet. That number is closer to 30. I will say that I have a great library who is great about buying books for me. I'm always requesting books. They're great about buying most of the books I request. Great topic.

I really loved these first two books in this series as well. I love the pairing of Psy with Changelings. It is something that I wish we got more of later in the series (not that I don't love the later books two, but I do miss these early pairings). I love Sasha and Faith. I don't envy either of them with their powers. Must be tough to see the future and feel other people's feelings. Great reviews.

I really enjoyed this book too. I knew it was going to be a trilogy. I talked with Estep at RT last year and she was telling a group of us about it. She told us then it was going to be a trilogy. I thought it wrapped up really well. I do admit that I will miss Layla, Oscar, Mo and the gang.

I've started listening to them. I only have Liam's book left. I've been mixing them up between review books. :-) Thanks for letting me know though.
