I agree with tv being overrated! Most of the reality shows today are just obnoxious the only thing i watch are baseball, basketball and a few sitcoms & thats it.

Have fun on your cruise! I like cruises, the only one i went on was in Alaska in summer of 2009. It was a little much for me because i thought 8 days was a little too long.

Oh i love almonds covered in chocolate, anything with chocolate really.. I don't normally like raisins but the chocolate covered ones is a whole 'nother story.

Yes it would be so hard to leave family and friends. Most of my family does live up north with me so i don't think i'd be going anywhere any time soon. :) Its funny since we ALL grew up in So Cal and migrated up. The only people that haven't moved is my dads brother, my moms brother moved down to San Diego from LA years ago.
Anyway its okay about the Warriors, they played a tough Chicago team. Its just one loss & its not like they lost the championship or anything.

Have fun with your grandchildren! My mom likes to pick up my sisters kids from school on Friday's and get ice cream. most of us agree on fudge is too hard to say no to! i am not a nut person either!

That's great that you'll have all your children and grandchildren around for the Holiday's. :) I agree on 3 although i have a hard time staying up til midnight on NYE.

Ha my nephew does the same thing to us! He has something else he wants and its something that's over $100 ! We're like 'no Jack..." ;) I love after dinner walks, we usually go before dinner since its too dark later. My brother likes taking his dogs for a walk at night so sometimes i just go with him. My brother also loves pot roast! how funny.. Anyway I don't because i am party vegetarian! Happy Thanksgiving!!

I agree! I really do not like much seafood either but it is hard to pass on my brother's crab cakes. As long as its cooked i am fine. I also like cooked shrimp but thats as far as i go. Sushi just makes me sick! I feel nauseous being in a sushi restaurant alone.

he he i like your joke. :) oh yea i forgot to mention Alzheimers, my dads dad had it, and my moms dad had dimentia i think for the last 6 months of his life. But he didn't suffer as much as my other grandpa did. I do feel worried since they say its genetic.
That must be challenging to have the grandkids not be in a technology environment. That is good though, i grew up that way with my grandparents, neither had a computer and probably wouldn't have one today if they were still alive.
