http://iamchristianiamanatheist.blogspot.kr/ : Morality does not prove the existence of a god

I consider the moral argument the worst apologetic argument. (Yes, I rank these.) There is just so much wrong with it. First, it is debatable whether morality is objective or subjective--personally I'd say specific moral codes may be applied objectively, but that's all. Second, if it is objective, God isn't needed to explain it. And third, if God was somehow needed it makes morality arbitrary to the whim of God and therefore not objective--which negates the premise of the argument.

"Understanding can wait, obedience can't" opens the door to all kinds of default fascism. I really hate that tweet in particular.
Hausdorff Bible Blog : Memes of The Week

Good idea, memes bring me a lot of traffic. They are Twitter and even Reddit friendly too. Some deep cuts pulling from comments of other blogs. Did you ask permission to memeify these? (Not that I really think it's needed unless you start making money off them.) It doesn't hurt that you reference too of my favorite podcasts either. :-) My recent post Of Course I Care

I wasn't really expecting something new. :-) I thought about doing this crosspost idea with other apologetic blogs if it went well...but even though I think it did go well, I'm not going to. Since the their arguments are one-trick ponies and taken down often by all of us, it seems redundant.
Hausdorff Bible Blog : Non-overlapping magisteria

"When religion tries to invade the domain of science" is really my sticking point.
Bitch Spot : Blogging: Am I Shooting Myself in the Foot?

I tend not to say I'm atheist to mixed company because depending on their definitions, I could be atheist or agnostic. I just say "I don't believe in God." It's impossible to come up with a simple rewording for liberal or conservative because so many beliefs are bundled into those labels. How many of those beliefs must one have to take on the label? If the answer is "all" then I wouldn't say you're conservative. If the answer is just "most" then I suppose you are. I'd defend the meaning of atheist as I know it until it hits a critical mass of redefinition--in which case I'd let the new culture have the word and call myself something more colloquially accurate.
