I HIGHLY doubt Pearl was still considered in service after fighting for the rebels for centuries and garnering a reputation as fearsome, and even if she could, why would Pink Diamond come out of the safety of the palanquin through the request of a pearl? If you watch The Answer again, Blue never leaves her's the entire time, and why would she when rebels are about?

Also, considering The Trial outright revealed the season wide arc of Rose's political assassination was in itself a red herring, the idea that the revelation itself is another red herring for another party to come forward is downright redundant. I'm not saying it's impossible, but we're 5 seasons in, ya got to show some of your cards at some point.

Because of Steven Universe, expect a resurgence eventually.

Wait, so you want Celestia and Luna to fix everything?

Honestly though, I don't see why people complain about Celestia not playing the Deus Ex Machina card. Either it's not within her power to do anything about it (which she outright says with Discord and out right displayed with Chrysalis,) or she trusts Twilight and Friends can handle it. After all, why send out your Queen when the Knights and Rooks can do the job just as well? Plus anyways, if something were to happen to princesses, Equestria would probably be screwed since the ponies seem to have a hard enough time getting their sh*t together (seriously, Ponyville would probably be wiped off the map if they didn't have the mane six around.)

I always thought the flowing manes and tails were indication of power, considering Luna didn't have it when she was knocked down a peg by the elements and why she did have it after recuperating for a while. So in that sense, Luna and Celestia are more realized alicorns, while Twilight and Cadence still have a long ways to go.

Well, if Celestia and Luna had to become alicorns like Twilight and Cadence did, it would make sense for them to have parents at some point. But let's wait and see what officially get canonized before we set it in stone in the fanon.

As I mentioned in another comment, flying is easy, taking off is another beast since you need to gain momentum and crap like that. She probably had Dash help her off the ground on the finale (or shining armor tossed her :D)

Well, yeah, it's easy to fly after getting into the air. She probably still struggles with take-off though. You know, building up the momentum. Dash probably helped her get off the ground in the final shot.

Ok, who keeps putting racist remarks in the comments?
We're visitors on the site folks; we're ambassadors! And what kind of impression are we leaving when people keep flooding their comments with racist drivel and offensive remarks? Mind your manners!

Bewitched was insanely popular in Japan back in the day. In fact, it was the inspiration for the Magical Girlfriend genre; which eventually evolved in the Magical Girl genre.

So basically, we wouldn't have Sailor Moon without Bewitched.
