Man Wife and Dog Blog : Wondering If He's The One? Marry the Man Who....

Great list! I remember the first time I noticed my boyfriend, now husband, watching me sleep! What a great feeling when you're falling in love! For me, I knew my husband was the one because he always took me and things going on in my life into consideration and made things just easy. For instance, I travel a lot for work and would be very busy helping my family take care of my grandmother, etc. He would take it upon himself to do my grocery shopping (at least the staples) when he did his on the weekend. To me, it was his way of saying, "I'll save you an hour or two just to make things easier for you." My recent post Our wedding in just under four minutes

Think Pretty Smart : Hey Listen

My initial thought reading the question is whomever asked sees something in you that they want to emulate. I've had people ask me about being so happy, etc., and I could clearly see on their face they were going through something. I don't think it's exactly weird to ask someone that question.
Man Wife and Dog Blog : Is Taking Off Your Wedding Rings the First Sign of Trouble? (The Katy Perry and Russell Brand Lesson

I take my rings off when I get home from work, and don't generally keep them on when I'm at home. If I spotted my husband without his ring on, I'd figure he simply forgot to put it on. Now if there are problems on the homefront, I might think different.

Think Pretty Smart : Like It Or Leave It

My mother/family are not haters in general, nor my friends. So for me, it's always been important that they all like my significant other/husband. For my mother to have an issue with someone dealing with me, it says a lot! Plus I need somewhere to go for Sunday family dinners. I'd hate to arrive solo or with the SO and have my mother say, "umph!"

Think Pretty Smart : Last Name Game

I changed my last name legally but didn't bother at work. I'm known in my industry by my maiden name and didn't want the hassle of folks trying to find the new Mrs. Ali, even though my colleagues jokingly call me "Mrs. Jackson" (and then usually reference a Janet or Outcast song *sideeye*). Plus I just got a new batch of business cards a month before I got married with my maiden name. It's just easier that way.
