Happy, happy birthday! I hope you had a blast! :) Nothing really particular when it comes to the best birthday gift. But I'm most happy and thankful when the gift speaks of familiarity and affection, like they know I would truly enjoy the gift even if it's not expensive, like when they give me my favorite chocolates (because I'm very particular with the flavors) :)

Congratulations on your Blogoversary! Here's to more years of book blogging! And thanks for the giveaway. If I win, I may choose Elle Kennedy's Midnight Action :)

I'm still waiting for that fire to light up in me again before I pick up Daughter of Smoke and Bone again. Didn't work out the first time I started it but maybe second time's the key? :) I am reading a lot of amazing things about Trial by Fire. The blurb did not really pull me in deep the first time I read it but it got me interested. And now, hearing you guys rave about it makes me want to read it too, soon, very much. :) Red Rising and These Broken Stars are on my TBR list. And while I'm not a fan of historical fiction, especially ones set during a war, Code Name Verity is sitting on my shelf now and I'm definitely going to read it! :) Thanks for sharing your awesome list and for stopping by my TTT :)

I love your one-liner descriptions in your book stack :) And congratulations on writing a book. Wow. I started Daughter of Smoke and Bone but didn't really get into the story so I stopped. I hope to pick it up again later this year or maybe next year and hope I'll get into the story this time because I've heard good things about this series. Thanks for stopping by my Sunday Post :)

I did hear about this one from another blogger. He featured it on yesterday's Top Ten Tuesday. I actually haven't read Patrick Ness yet so I don't really know what to expect of his books or his writing but I hope the waiting for this one is not too excruciating for you because... 2015! LOL :) Thanks for sharing.

I've only read Landline and Rainbow Rowell is amazing as always. I have The Art of Lainey on my shelf and I did start with the first few pages but found the female MC annoying but others have said to continue ahead since it gets better so I will be reading this still but maybe not anytime soon.

I do hope you enjoy your getaway... if you're not too fond of weddings, just think about all the books you can read while you're not enjoying the wedding. LOL :) But I still hope you'll have a great time. Great haul. And I love that bit about the book FOUR. LOL :) Thanks for sharing!
