Oh, if we knew what we would find after the wilderness, it wouldn't have sounded so menacing in the first place. Yes, at the end of each desert we live closer and closer into the Prince of all Peace.

What disturbs me most is that if we do not live and breathe and have our being in Christ Jesus, we are prisoners of the evil one, slaves to do his bidding for the whole world lies in the evil one!

Dear Rabia
I think Ken and you should built your daughter a tree house in that tree and soon your boys will want to move house too!! I remember the nights when my brother and I would sleep in our tree house. It was such fun,but needless to say that when the early morning hours came, we softly crept back home into our soft beds!

Dear Stacy
Illness has taught me many things, but one of the most important is the truth of that verse in Acts somewhere where Paul tells us that God is not served with human hands? He doesn't need anything from us,but He soooo desires that we love Him and enjoy His Presence forever. We who are chronically ill might just have more time to just be still in His Presence!

Dear Ren
Yes, what a joy to listen to someone who experienced the joy of marriage and true love the way it is supposed to be between spouses! I don't for one moment think it was without hiccups, but their love conquered all that! We can learn from such wisdom!

Dear Ren
I have missed your family's thrills. But I had my own wonderful children thrills this holidays! My youngest, aged 21, told us how he gave his life to God unreservedly for an intimate relationship all on his own. My oldest, aged 23, humbled me with his love for God and the wisdom he has been blessed with from above.
My Hubbie is much like yours when it comes to vacation. He just loves chilling at home.

Oh, those driving lessons! I never learned how to drive as a teenager, so it was up to my husband to teach me. Needless to say, we didn't want a divorce or permanent bad vibes between us, so we rather paid for driving lessons. How true are your words. Just yesterday, I read again of how God's thoughts and ways are so much higher and different than ours. Common sense also tells me that for eternity His plans and thoughts are beyond comparison.
