Being that it's from the Alliance Witness, and based on the language, it sounds to me like something AW Tozer would write. He wrote often for the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Maybe from his book "The Pursuit of God" or "Knowledge of the Holy." Or perhaps "God Tells the Man Who Cares," which reprints many of his articles.
