That used to happen to me to, the toilet thing and the having to get out thing. It's awful. What I did was BREATHE. That overwhelming feeling of having to get out can't win! Your brain can't trick you into not enjoying things! So if I can't distract it with whatever I have near me, I breathe slooooowly. Sometimes it doesn't work. That's why it's a disorder, you can't control it. So when I know I have to go on a work lunch, for example, which is super stressful for me, I take a pill. In Homeopathy, they have 'relaxing' things like teas and pills and they can really help without filling your body with chemicals; they're made with herbs. So yeah, maybe you can try that? And def talk to your other half. Feeling like you're overreacting or anxious for how they will react only creates more anxiety.

Thank you for sharing. I've had a similar post ready to publish for a while and I've just put it off. Don't know why, I guess it's hard to share not-so-fun things.

A therapist once told me that anxiety is something I would have to deal with forever. I can live with it, I just have to learn to live with it. And that's what I've been doing since 2006. I think of the 5 things you listed, distracting yourself is the one that's worked best for me. If I have my mind occupied on fun things, or just things I enjoy, I don't feel anxiety creeping in.

Relaxing is always good and you should always have a place to go to, a song to sing in your mind, something to grab onto when you're feeling anxiety coming. A month ago I had an anxiety attack at work, I told my friend and she took me to sit on a couch and held my hand while I sang to myself and tried to make the bad feelings go away. IT WORKED! Nobody was more surprised than me. So yeah, ask for help and confide if you need to.

I couldn't find the eyeliner in black, only blue!! AHh. So sad. I did get the cleanser, though. :)

This episode stuck with me for so long. I still do the "you gotta get up" when I don't want to get up. it's just one of those lines that I hear in my head even though the context is 100% different. My brain is silly, sometimes.

Anyway, Spiers to the rescue!! I love that scene so much, and the one at the monastery. The lightning! I have the DVDs but I haven't watched them all yet, I guess there is a Behind the Scenes feature there to see how the show was filmed. I should watch that (you too, Mark).

Oh, Mark, how are you doing 'discovering' actors? Simon Pegg was already there, and Fassbender. Did you catch them? :D

This episode is special to me for girly reasons: this is where I 'met' James McAvoy and his left eyebrow of doom. We've been together ever since. *sighs*

I love Replacements. It really is, like you said, a calm before the OHSHITWTF hits. Even though it's very violent but in a quieter way, I guess. Also, new characters. Heffron <3 And I just love them all.

Oh, this is wonderful! I've been reading your blog for a while now but this is the first time I comment. I'm traveling to the UK in June, so I've been taking notes of products I'd like to try (that are not for sale where I live). I'll def. go to Boots and maybe Sephora. If you have any pointers/recommendations for me, that would be amazing.

This entire thing is a dude fest. And I approve. *shallow comment of the day*

I always forget this is where a certain soldier first appears, he's... I was going to say my favorite but honestly, I can't choose. It's like choosing a favorite episode. No can do.
