Definitely agree that Unearthly is one worth keeping on your bookshelf. I reviewed it recently, and I have to say that it was one of my fave reads of January.

I'm an adult who reads YA novels, and since I've already experienced university as well as high school, I would have no problem reading literature written from this perspective. In fact, I just did finish a novel that is being marketed to the YA audience, called The Uninvited, which features a girl who just finished her freshmen year at university and a couple of characters who are four years older. The novel is by Tim Wynne-Jones and is great for people who are interested in suspenseful, family dramas.

I would love to win this book. I've read a few books set in Poland during WWII. Plus, I do love fairy-tale beginnings, endings and everything in between. Also, I took a vacation that included a stop in Krakow, Poland (which is an amazing city), and at the same time, went to Auschwitz and Birkenau since they're close by Krakow. It was a very moving experience and since then I've read a bunch of books with the setting you mentioned. Would love to include this book on my site as well.

Thanks for commenting on my review and for letting me know about yours. I know what you mean about accusing everyone in her family and not expecting the person it turned out to be. :)

The only book that I've read so far from this list is Stay by Gayle Forman, but I have Wintergirls and Hold Still (as well as John Green's Looking For Alaska in my TBR pile.

If you want to check out some other great contemporary literature may I suggest Harmonic Feedback by Tara Kelly and Kiss It by Erin Downing? For the latter, the reader really ought to be 14+ (just in case anyone reads this comment and decides to check it out).

So looking forward to Mockingjay and I'm also Team Gale. I've seen more Team Gale buttons today than I have ever before. :) (Also a new follower).

I hope that you have a chance to check out my hop and perhaps the interview I posted today with YA author Lesley Anne Cowan. She's stopping by to ask/answer questions from my readers all day!
