God yes, I agree, but then I'm an Arts/Drama major so slightly biased. I think drama is the most amazing thing to help not only extroverts but introverts also. I do think it's important not to overcompensate, though. Billy sounds like she'll be a brilliant kid for the play to give her an outlet for whatever is going on in her quick mind, but not at the expense of other "shyer" kids who may fall outside the radar but who could respond well to the dramatic arts. Theatre, baby, theatre all the way! Kx

I love Stephen King, although in truth I haven't read one of his books for many years. He's just so digestible and the imagination on that man! Sheesh! I definitely have Stephen King "Thrash out a first draft in 3 months envy". It took me 5 months! I hate adverbs too! Adverbs be GONE. Kx

I had no idea you were dealing with this, Trish (how did I miss it???) This post was beautiful, but heartbreaking at the same time. I'm going to use that word—Zemblanity—hopefully not too much, though! I feel so bad for your friend and for you and your family. It could happen to any of us at any time. Life is so sacred, yes? Kx

Haha, funny. I love the States, too. I've had some amazing times and some terribly crap ones in the States. Their attitude towards alcohol I found hilarious. Last time I went we were in Massachusetts—I had just turned 30—and the guy in the bottleshop refused to sell me booze because he swore I was under age even though I had my passport with me. I showed him my freaking passport but he insisted it wasn't legal as my visa (which was a visitor's visa, not a working visa) didn't have a photo on it (even though my passport did). It was ridiculous. On the plus side, I guess he did think I looked younger than 21! Anyway off-topic, sorry about that. Hilarious post as ever, Pink! Kx
