But it just really worked. I think it helps that the actors traveled to each location together and spent a LOT of time, because there is definitely a deep chemistry/connection that they all enjoy together. These are two characters who are very different too, in the sense that Lito wears his emotions openly, and Wolfgang's very controlled. I love Wolfgang's blunt advice for Lito here, it's what he needs to hear to make the next step, and then he helps him finish it. Just very happy overall with that duo. I really look forward to seeing more and more about this cluster and how their individual relationships are as well as a group. This show is really fascinating to me for that alone. Personally I couldn't stand the birth scenes. It squicked me out big time. That isn't to say I didn't find it cool as a concept or that it wasn't emotionally moving, because it was, I just couldn't watch it. It is beautifully written and acted and devastating and beautiful and probably one of my favorite things on this show. And definitely one of the most powerful scenes in the entire thing. I love Capheus' pure kindness. The fact he goes through pain and grief but still manages to smile on the other side, it's just incredible to see someone like that. But it feels genuine, it doesn't feel like an act or they're forcing a character to be that sunny. The acting on this show is so damn good, because I believe in his natural optimism against all odds.
