Medals cost next to nothing; a decent pay rise for front line workers, including care sector, would be much more appreciated. Not surprised, a tax avoider recommends a cost free option.

Also, very true, figures of fatalities are only for those in hospitals, not care homes for example.

How can there be a God, of any sort, that allows the truly innocent to suffer in so many ways, not just through this Virus. People need an emotional “crutch”, but they should not be given any sort of priority because of what they believe.

Dementia is not counted as “vulnerable”, can any of you imagine what it is like for those of us with dementia trying to queue and keep distance when we are confused enough?

Medals are relatively free, the “heroes”; NHS and Care workers in particular need more pay; shelf stackers are heroes too but they already get paid more than carers; I used to be a paid carer and a few left to become shelf stackers for that reason.

Speak for yourself; I am in vulnerable group and don’t want to be restricted for 18 months! We have rights too, just because we are “economically inactive” does not mean we are not important or that we cannot contribute to society in other ways..
