Arguably, the way I think the last issue is basically going to involve Sombra, Hope, Cadance, and the Umbrum, everyone else there including the Mane 6 and the Legion of Not So Evil (which will have their heel face turn) are just going to be part of a big battle to keep the umbrum at bay while there's a story driving between Sombra, Hope, and Cadance. That latter part I suspect will also reveal the fate/nature of Princess Amore and her connection to Cadance (that big hint drop when Hope brings up the near visual similarity).

Arguably, the Spike/Luna FF took Luna out of the story fast, making it more 80% Spike/20% Luna. (Here, the few Z-less pages made it more 55%/45% Spike/Zecora, and that was fine)

I'm going by her tone and reaction at the end learning that Twilight knows magic as powerful as her *and* has friends. Equals town was her attempt to make ponies be her friend, now she's trying to learn how Twilight can actually do that without force.

I think we are that attentive to the small details that if even just a glimpse of her three-toned hair appeared in a previous ep, we'd have been all over it. I'm sure some will check though. However, given that Starlight sees Twilight mostly has her enemy and not so much the other mane 6, I'd wait for the next Twi-centric ep to see if she reappears.

Good for you, Calpain. The whole mess over your original announcement led me to go watch SU, and while I can't get as into it as pony, I can see why it has a dedicated following and certainly appreciate the show. It's a different style of humor but works just fine. And so there's no reason for some fans who dislike pony to fear another SU fan site, particularly if you are bringing in the experience of managing EQD into it.

I have no problem with where the story ended up in this comic: Ponyville in the midst of civil war (which some of the Mane 6 have gotten involved within) , leaving Twilight and a few sane ponies dealing with the fact that the town's about to be rushed by many many tourists - that's a perfect panic story that made something like Swarm of the Century a fun episode. The resolution should be good. However, it required many many characters grabbing at the idiot ball to make that happen: - For the most part, the entire town being divided because Diamond Tiara was being a jerk. I could think of other ways to get to the point where AJ + the Apples and those loyal to them would be arguing with Filthy Rich and the others, but to base is on a spoiled brat's hostility felt really out of place. - There was no reason to have Rarity become the defacto leader of one side. AJ being the leader of the other, sure, since we're talking her family directly. While Rarity's reason to share Filthy Rich's concerns was maybe a bit of a stretch but in character, her suddenly being the ringleader for that side wasn't needed - Filthy still could have been the one calling the shots and that would have better lined up with AJ defending her family's honor. Once the lines are drawn, the rest is good - the fighting itself (appropriately comedic) , Twilight's friendship lesson denied, and the ending, but just getting there requires a stretch of characterization that just doesn't work well.

They should know what a "foot" is dealing with other critters like Spike, griffons, and the like. Yes, the phrase should be "my hoof" given the derivation , but it's not like "foot" is an unknown word.
