Personally, I wonder if the birth certificate he released isn't the one from before he was adopted. That could partially account for why it took so long for him to produce it - it would have been sealed when he was adopted and the new certificate listed his stepfather as his father. If that's the case, his legal name could still be Barry Soetero (sp?).

Scarliy enough, I think they really do believe everything they say and are driven by that as well as any financial benefit. They're pretty much cultists.

She IS college-educated and there ARE a bunch of lawyers in the family. These people may be horrible, but lying about their academic and professional credentials isn't one of their horriblenesses.

People who maintain that GLBT people shouldn't be "allowed" in the conservative movement are doing so at their detriment. Not being heterosexual has absolutely nothing to do with limited government, opposing the Obama administration, respect for the US Constitution, and an overall love of America.

I'm really, really hoping they're going to make "The Horse and His Boy", which is neck-and-neck with "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" for my favorite Narnia book. The part where Aravis and Lasaraleen are hiding behind the couch in that room where the Tisroc is talking about how he doesn't really care if Rabadash dies gives me shivers every single time.

Plus, THaHB would mean they'd get to bring back Mr. Tumnus, hopefully still played by James McAvoy. :D
