Her name is escaping me too. I can see her face, though....

So very true. I have been coming to realize that the more I read, and the more I learn, the more I don't really know.

And I think I know which tennis instructor you're talking about...I'm pretty sure she was the same one who taught the PE for elementary teachers class...

I, too, am so terribly sad that Cindy is closing her blog. :( Her voice of wisdom and experience will be sorely missed.

I haven't read any Plato...yet...but Dr Reynold's book is making me want to. :)

Beautiful. The lantana made me smile because we have those here too (our tropical plants guidebook calls them 'cherry pies' and I believe Jeanne told me that they call them "bacon and eggs" in Australia. :) And it just kind of makes me smile that that makes at least 3 of us on three different continents who are familiar with those flowers.

And I am about to start it. (The Symposium Chapter in Dr Reynolds book that is.) Ha! Great minds must think alike.

Thanks for sharing this. I have a post ready to go on this chapter later this week. I am hopeful that I can pick that series back up and go with it. You have noticed a lot of the same ideas that stood out to me. Ultimately it IS about trusting that God knows what He is doing and the He will be faithful to guide us.
