Well... what do I do? I call my mum, and if she can take time off from work she comes over to help us. If she can't - my husband is taking time off... If it is absolutely impossible to get help I try not to leave the couch and very often the kids do understand and try to take care of themselves as much as possible.
I don't think you are a wimp. You need to take care of yourself! Hope, you find some rest, somehow. Get well soon!

Saint Nicholas comes!
And Knecht Ruprecht (Black Peter in Ireland), his fierce companion, is coming along!
But he has become a good helper.
Nicholas, who has read the Golden Book,
Looks into our hearts and knows well, what we are wishing for
And all the good deeds we are trying to achieve.

“Every child has a golden heart.” Saint Nicholas says.
And to the grown-ups he says:
“Stay a child in your heart!”

Now Nicholas is giving gifts to the children
And wishes them a blessed Christmas time.
