I'd wager it would. I've seen pentagon jr selling shirts at shows and pulling out a bag to get change with easily thousands of dollars in it, all made at the merch tables that weekend.

If they sign to a low level WWE contract, and WWE don't push them with Merch (like they don't with a lot of Indy talent at the start) yeah, I think they'll lose out a lot. Especially if you broke it down to pay per show, given WWEs touring schedule.

They'd need to make a successful WWE midcard run to catch up, would be guess. If WWE push them that way, I'd be surprised. Fenix will be Kalisto 2, and Pentagon will be changed up to try and catch the Rey Mysterio fan base WWE really want

I think the Cody title win should be rated a 2 at best. The run ins were annoying, the finish was meh (especially after a botched disaster kick) and the blading was bloody stupid.

He spent a good minute blading, he got lifted up by page for us all to see ZERO blood. The Davari came and hit page, Cody went under the table again and 30 seconds later was bleeding. It was stupid and looked like he'd cut his face on the table whilst playing hide and seek.

I personally give the show a 3.5. I enjoyed the 4 final matches, the women 4 way, and both pre show matches. Everything else kind of dragged.

Amell/Daniels gets a pass cause of what it was and Amell really through him self in to it. But it's no way a match that would increase the shows appeal for me.

It'll be like when Lisa Simpson broke Ralph's heart... "Look Kevin.... You can actually pinpoint the second when his heart rips in half"

That's a pathetic response. That's essentially the thing you're complaining about WWE doing.

Fans (readers) offering constructive criticism, and you tell em sod off and carry on the same way

The guy only asked for a reformat of ad spacing. Something that can be done in minutes. No need to be a dick.

"So, Hogan, some people didn't accept your apology. How do you feel about that?"

"well, you see, the roster is about 15% black, so you know them crazy ni**as are just going to make their own narrative from my words, brother. Those ni**as are just starting out in this game, and they dont know how to look out for brothers, brother. No matter what shit I do brother, everyone should just accept it and protect me, brother. Like a brother, brother. But those 15% blacks, they don't understand the business"

Thats basically what he said. Maybe not, but not far off. His answer was essentially "I said sorry, that should be enough, but they wont accept it" he wont mention who wont, but all the black wrestlers were vocal. We know who they were. We know who he means. He can apologise all he wants, and say he 'owns it'. But just saying "yeah, I said it, it was bad, I'm sorry" whilst just expecting everyone to welcome you back with open arms, and actually giving a meaningful apology, whilst trying to better yourself/ They're two totally different things. HE did the first.

I dont like Hogan, but he's a legend. I respect him, he's due his place in the hall of fame. But claiming that people dont understand the business of protecting your brother (outside the ring) because you were racist, and shockingly, the people you were racist against didn't like it, is fucking idiotic.

Political leaning aside, Gunn and Barr were two different things.

James Gunn said some despicable things nearly a decade ago. Apologised, grew up, and then had it dug back up to be punished for it again. Apologised again and was graceful.

Roseanne, said racist comments now and made excuses, and then went on a tirade afterwards too.

Political leaning may be a small part, but when the comments were made, and the actions after are just as much a factor.

With Cedric and Tye, again, it's 6 years ago. Both have moved on. Grown up, and they tagged people in their comments. Unless you believe they actually raped that person and tagged them to boast about it, then you have to assume it was a joke (sick or not) with them. A joke that they currently wouldn't make, and shouldn't really be attacked for now

"Lesnar Confirmed" "IF Reports are to be believed"

Thats not confirmed then, is it you daft dicks?

This whole stuff with Lesnar, I'm almost convinced at this point that they keep telling him to stay away, watching the crowd turn on him more, having Heyman deliver gradually more repetitive and boring promos for him when he does show, to get the crowd to completely resent Lesnar as champ. All so that Reigns will get a pop when he wins it, would be much better with Strowman doing it though.

Thats if the guy does even turn up though. He's made the WWE look stupid, and treated them like his bitch. Whatever happened to the "The WWE title must be defended every 30 days" I'd happily have Kurt come out, after Extreme Rules, and say that Lesnar has consistantly breached this part of his contract, thanks to favouritism from head office, but he's had enough. Reigns is right, people here work day in and out, and thats what a champ should be. So its with great sadness he announces that Brock Lesnar will not be at Summerslam, but the title will be, as of this moment Brock Lesnar is stripped of the title, and his reign as Champion is now void in the record books.

They gave him the longest Title reign in modern history to make him look good. He's done nothing to repay that. So fuck him. Punk becomes longest reign in modern history again, and then let someone who deserves it to break that record.

Whilst overlong speeches can cause boredom or annoyance, it's still the fans that are the issue, as it's them who start the stupid chants.

When HillBilly Jim was going off on a tangent, did Cena get up and boo? Curtis Axel? the guys in production?

No, cause it was a level of professional courtesy, and likely, the story was something they could relate to more than the average fan. Personally, I watch the event the day after. So if someone is rambling, and I'm a bit bored, I can skip it. What I can't skip, is that if a group of fans have decided that they really need to let someone have it that night, then everytime that wrestler pops up, I'm forced to listen to lame chants and boos, when I'm trying to find out about the wonderful things Molly Holly did to support her peers.

I'd probably be ok with it too, if WWE didn't air it live, and put a tidy 2 hour presentation of it on on Mid Day saturday on the Network. But they want it to be a whole weekend of wrestling, and want it all exclusively live, so we have to just let them have that freedom I guess. But you can always skip ahead, or make a drink, or whatever. YOu cant always tune out the fans who want it to be about them.

AT the main shows is one thing, but the Hall of Fame should never be confused for a place where "We bought our tickets so we can say what we want". Sadly, a small minority tend to think it is.

"this is the squared circle. Aka my yard"

Yes, Roman. Where you lost 3 straight title chances but somehow still get another chance. Now piss off and let someone else try.
