I wonder if this is why Dariene needed to be there to help create the Mobiles. Earth was supposed to be the home of silicone based life, but it was all lost, allowing humans to exist. An earth wizard had to help create silicone life elsewhere, pay off that ancient debt.
Sexual harassment seems pretty harsh, she hasn't done anything I would call that. Hasn't touched him, hasn't made any direct comments about his body, left him alone very quickly after stopping to say hi in this scene. Really, all the sexual predator feel has come from Kit's commentary, not really anything Carmela has actively done.
I like to think she cares, or at least is super into gossip and wants to know what's up just to know. Maybe she even hoped to learn some of Ronan's details ;)
That's the point, Hesperus was the one associated with the Lone One *before* it fell. After it fell it became Phorphoros.
I bet there are some adult wizards specialized in psychotropic wizardries who handle that kind of thing. Those spells are supposed to be really complex, but can't take that much power. Perfect for older wizards.

I wonder if that wasn't Half included to troll rereaders XD
I wonder if the Praxis could/would have stopped her. Is that what shouted "don't do it!" Or was that Kit?
I wonder how much of that is because our protagonists come from an Earthly, Western, Christian background. The Powers wear all kinds of faces and have many facets. The way Nita and Kit see the world surely influences how they see the Powers, who are so open to mortal interpretation. Kit didn't see a red headed man in a business suit when he looked at the Lone One for the first time. Ronan doesn't perceive the Defender as female.
Tolkien wouldn't like to hear that. He was very adamant that LotR was not an allegory for anything, and his biggest conflict with C.S. Lewis was that he didn't like that Narnia was based in allegory.
