I will never forget when the Bennetts appeared on Songs Of Praise some years back. They went up on stage to sing (it was filmed in a Pentecostal church) and I think they were wearing slightly revealing outfits. An audience member sitting in the audience shouted "have some respect in the house of the Lord". The Bennetts and there mother who was sitting in the audience started to bawllin. That actually signalled the of end for the duo.
Years later I saw Easther on the Lottery show (I think) with short dreads singing with Aswad....

I went to college with a girl who knew the Bennett sisters. They could not stand Kellie, and when they scaled down to becoming a threesome travelled on different tour buses. Louise was treated badly too.
Easther and Vernie rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way during the height of their fame. That's part of the reason why they eventually crashed and burned.
