"americans are forever searching for love in forms it never takes, in places it can never be. It must have something to do with the vanished frontier."

"Do you have a roof over your head? The ability to search for menial job opportunities on Craigslist? An able body and semi-sane mind? A government willing to dole out food stamps if you really, truly can’t find the means to feed yourself?" ..and some people don't even have these. well said

The Neave Online Publication : The Truth About Scorpios

when scorpios feel betrayed, we can be nasty...ive had my experience with friends of this nature. Being a scorpio myself, i find its important to note that typically our nature can and is divided in two: the scorpion and the eagle....we can either be backed into a corner or we can soar above others, depending on ones individual potential. besides the passion & creativity part, I dont have much in common with scorpios, which makes me wonder if i really belong to the "13th" sign of the zodiac...the serpent bearer, which falls in between scorpio and sagittarius. good post britt!

The Neave Online Publication : Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" - Yay or Nay?

hmm...i dont really see madonna at all....I see freemason symbols in the beginning, i get a "neverending story/mad max/disney villian" vibe from the whole thing...and i think lady gaga's whole concept of androgyny throughout her look & videos is brilliant (although the motives are questionable)....madonna never went down that road. also, notice how something is always said about her looks & videos, vs. her music. I personally prefer gaga stripped down with a piano, but it's clear that she, or whoever controls her music, is trying to send a message that just couldnt be sent through lyrics themselves. the whole "one eye" thing should also be looked at closely....

The Neave Online Publication : Is This the Greatest Song of All Time?

glad they included some muddy waters....but WTF on the rest of the additions. I wonder what songs they extracted from the original list to add these. They should name the list "the 500 most commercially sold, overused & overrated songs," for the most part. bleh
