To be fair I only have 3 kids (the 4th was a typo! unless Elizabeth counts husbands as children! haha) and 1 of those is my stepson who is with us only about 40% of the time. Plus my mom lives nearby and helps. Also my husband and I work side by side at night a lot, I am not big into TV or movies, and I'm not the best sleeper. Alas....

Thank you for having me, Elizabeth! Glad I'm not the only distracted one around here.

Lovely. Every artist needs solitude to be great.

I'm a strong believer that the truth shall set us free. But it's not always easy letting go. Or letting in. Or facing our true selves. I love how you say it's a practice. It really is. I'm beginning to sense that all of life is a practice. I can't remember who said it, but someone said: "all of life is an experiment. the more experiments, the better."

Lovely flowers and arranging and photographs. Sunday, I struggled with a migraine. But this week is proving to be better :)

Lovely list. Self-promotion makes me squirm. Another great book to read is Brene Brown's "Daring Greatly." It's all about the power of vulnerability.

It's definitely a challenge to keep my desk clean, but I feel so much better when it is. I currently have some candle wax crusted onto my desk, so that's my project: remove wax. And, um, clean out my drawers. I can do this every day and yet they still fill up.
