First and foremost, I like the show. I was a little shaken by S3's dip in quality, but S4 has convinced me firmly that was just circumstantial.

Specifically relating to the community... I enjoy the creativity. And I have met some really nice people through it. Sure, there's downsides. Drama, some disturbing... things. But overall, I think it's fun and a lot of awesome things come from it. And as long as those continue to be true, I'll be here. Maybe more on the sidelines than in the spotlight, but I'm here nonetheless.

Meetups seem like they might be fun, but I don't function well in groups. I have a tendency to end up frustrated or angry. Being in retail ruined my ability to socially interact with other people. All I want to do is hide from them.

This isn't specific to brony meets/cons, it's how I feel about anything involving people. Can't feel comfortable in a group, period.

I want to see it before I buy the DVD. Out of respect (JDL actually asking nicely!) I have not pirated a copy. If I think it's worthwhile after seeing it, I will buy the DVD/BluRay.
