Mommy To Two Boys : Mom, look at my privates! Ugh...Boys!

lol. Very funny until they try it in front of company. I remember being totally jealous of my younger brothers because they could pee standing up. Actually, still a little jealous. ;) My recent post US TV Show “House Hunters” Looking for Expat Relocation Stories

Mommy To Two Boys : Happy SITS Day to me!

Happy SITS Day. Thank you for your wonderful blog. I have no children (and don't know anyone with autistic children), and the way you're able to describe your experiences with such empathy makes it easier for me to understand motherhood and children. My recent post Places Around Maastricht- De Slegte

Maastricht Minutiae : Exploring Berlin in 4 Days: Part Two

Glad you liked it. I don't typically go in for bike tours either, but my inlaws who were with us are suburb-bound in the states so it's a real treat for them. I didn't know there was a typical Sunday Brunch in Berlin. I'll have to keep it in mine for my need visit. :)

Glad you're enjoying them. The first bunker was very creepy, but the creepiest part of the second is that it is actually built around one of the subway stations. People literally walk through it every day without a clue.

I've been struggling with how to articulate how it feels to be in the place where horrible things happened. It's kind of disturbing, but at the same time I can't appreciate the full horror/emotion because I don't actually live there. I mean, to my knowledge anyway, no one ever ordered a massacre from my home town.

Maastricht Minutiae : Kun ik Nederlands spreken?

Hi Daniela,
That sounds a bit high for what we paid for my language classes. The course I took was 3 parts, each about 3 months long and involved going to class twice a week. I don't think it runs during the summer however. Good luck. I hope you find a class that works well for you.

Amanda

Maastricht Minutiae : Dutch BBQ Win & Fail

Hehe. I'm afraid to use a charcoal grill. I've never had one and, on the whole, people shouldn't let me get too close to fire. ;) On the other hand it would be easier to get my hands on around here.

Hmm...thought I had replied to you. Sorry! I was going to say that I didn't know Kinki Kappers was a chain. :) I haven't had anyone wanting to touch my hair yet, but its not as bright as a Manic Panic would have made it.
