>> A history of bonded labor and the caste system in India mean that children belonging to lower castes are more likely to be trafficked.<< It appears to me that this so called doctor has deceived himself thoroughly before deceiving others with his presuppositions about caste system and categorization of people as lower castes or upper castes. He seems to have swallowed the whole camel of religious propaganda without giving the slightest thought to the the the question of validity of his claims. Granting that the caste system is a fact of life, how does he come to the conclusion that there are low castes and not low castes? What are the criteria he has adopted to make such an assertion? Hearsay?, or did some body tell him or her that that be the case? If so did he check the truth of such claim by using the tools that facilitate finding it to be true or false? I don't think he has done it. It will be noted here that he has not attributed slavery or serfdom that prevailed or prevails in other parts of the globe as the reason for large scale trafficking in girls. The double standard is showing. And that exactly is what makes one think this write up to be a variation of fake news to mislead general public.

Normally,I would not have bothered to comment on this article, but what changed my mind is a report in the ICH by the news agency Routers in the news section. And I quote: " Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindu nationalist government is growing increasingly hostile towards the Rohingya in India, with Home Minister Rajnath Singh calling on Thursday for their deportation as illegal migrants". It is my firm conviction that while the western 'Christian media never misses an opportunity to highlight the role of 'Hindu nationalism' in their narrative of the troubles in these parts, It has been very coy in reporting about the developments in North Korea as primarily due to the frustration of the Christian American state in not being able shove Christianity down the throats of all Koreans so that their long time dream of setting up a Christian nation in the mainland Asia ever remaining a dream .After failing in China to make it Christian under Chiang Kei shek as the Time magazine founder editor visualized, Korea was the last hope to attain this dream. In other words the war in Korea is a religious war waged by the American Christian State against an 'heathen people in Korea. The more the western Christian controlled media tries to hide this fact the more will be its shrill claims about others' religious intolerance.

All findings of the so called surveys may be nothing but wishful thinking on the part of those who fund such surveys.

The basic flaw in the rhetorical question "is the existence of a creator god foundational to human morality" is the fallacy of presupposition that there can be only one god or one creator. What if the polytheists are correct in their theology about the existence of many gods and goddesses and it is foundational to human morality? Will that make believers in a single god immoral?

I find the clubbing of India with Australia, New Zealand and Japan as drum boys of US imperialism to be almost obscene. Then the all knowing pundits have almost unilaterally always assumed that the 'heathens of India ' once having been hewers of wood and drawers of water for their white conquerors will always remain so. In other words ,once heathens ,always heathens and have no way out for them than obey their past matters, the US being a continuum of the old British Christian Empire.
What ever be the credentials of the writer of this article, he is certainly very ignorant about the relations between India and the US in the immediate aftermath of India attaining independence. America through out the last 67 years have opposed everything India does or did whether it was threatening nuking India in retaliation for retaking Goa from Portugal, one of the son in laws of old time imperial dynasty or forging an alliance with Pakistan against India's Kashmir stand .But for Russian veto in the UN, the Indian nation would have been crawling with imperial peace keepers teaching a lesson to the practitioners of heathenism . So the assumption by the writer is that the Indians lack a sense of their own history and even self respect so that they can expect to blindly obey the imperial dictates of the US.
I even doubt whether he even knows that India is a democracy with a dozen national parties with 540 MPs. He is assuming that we ar all for sale for the highest bidders. Shame on him .

There is not much difference between the US government on the one hand and the institution known as Doctors without boarders on the other when it comes to meddling in the affairs of non European nations, one in the service of democracy and the other in the service of human love. If it is a must for me to prefer one from the other ,I will choose the US which after all is a democracy and accountable for its actions if not today ,later. But the Doctors with out boarders appears to be a seedy organization which work hand in gloves with terrorist organizations in democratic countries. A case in point is India . <div style="display:block;margin:6px 0 0"><a class="a2a_dd" href="http://www.addtoany.com/share_save">Share/Save/Bookmark

Does anyone remember the old 'Tarzan' and 'Phantom' heroes who like Don Quixote devoted their life in the service of the helpless Africans,Asians and even Chinese to set right wrongs and help widows as the US has been doing from the day it got free from Britain?

I remember the times when the so called westerners thumbed their noses at the blood shedding took place in India between the 'heathens' on the one hand and one of the people of the God of monotheism on the other immediately and around the partition of Indian subcontinent into India and Pakistan as if such things could not have happened anywhere else in the world especially in western Europe and North America forgetting the fact that the effect of religious ideology is the same everywhere.

What's so surprising about it? Isn't Aljazeera part of that Orwellian monster known as 'free press'?
