I still use all of these ingredients. The stock I stick with kitchen basics because it says gluten free on the box. I can't personally vouch for the cleanliness of ingredients though you will have to be responsible for that research yourself.

Sent from my iPhone

Is this the recipe you tried... <a href="http://.http://my-extraordinary-life.blogspot.com/2011/01/gluten-free-rolls.html
.http://my-extraordinary-life.blogspot.com/2011/01/gluten-free-rolls.html<br />

This is the recipe we prefer for rolls now. If so it calls for 3/4 cup water, not two. If its the original rolls made from Pamela's mix, you start with the eggs in the measuring cup, then the oil. All the ingredients total equal 2 cups. Then you are using 3 1/3 cups of Pamela's mix. Right???? It's not going to resemble bread dough, rather a thick cake batter. Scoop into your pan and allow to rise. You can not use a flour blend that does not include the gum, that sounds like what was missing from your mix. That will cause it to be way too liquid.

I have made this bread as an artisan bread type. The key is leaving the sugar and baking soda out. The rest is standard. Leave our batter in a covered container in the fridge before the rise cycle. You will take batter, shape with oiled hands and allow to rise for 30-40 minutes. Bake at 450 degrees for 30-40 minutes on top of a parchment lined baking stone. I have not baked my bread in a dutch oven though but I am sure it would most likely work. Let me know how your experiments go.!!
