I managed to purge my collection the other week. I ended up with an entire carrier bag of make up to rehome as there wasn't much that actually needed tossing. I felt so guilty for having so much "good stuff" to get rid of but it just reminds me now to be more mindful for future purchases which I have been for a while now. Instead of buying as much cheap make up as I can get for my coin, I'll get a few higher quality staples or treats. Like I recently bought my first high end foundation. Instead of buying every cheap MUA palette, I've been getting just a couple of high end ones like I got the tarte swamp queen palette and UD full spectrum. I love both of these and while ages ago having tonnes of palettes to chose from was nice, I've grown up and rather have a few quality. I've still got tonnes of choice for my make up as well which works well for me as I don't have a "go to" or "everyday" look.
