Awesome post!! I also don't care where I cough or how loud it is. I have to do it, even in a quiet movie theater. I never used to be a cougher, but in the last few years I've become one. I cough ALL the time now, but I also get a lot up and I can't complain about that! Great answer, Ronnie! :)
You are definitely not the only one! I LOVE fall. It is, hands down, my favorite season. I've already made apple bread and pumpkin french toast, and I can't wait to start making some soups. :)
Lauren, I'm so glad that you are starting to feel better. I can understand how you felt being wheeled up to the hospital...horrible feeling. I'm glad you're at home now, and I'm glad you are able to get some TLC. Rest up, and I'll be thinking of you!
Well, this post was just the inspiration I needed tonight. I've been running for the last 3 days, and I used my, "I'm too tired to run," excuse just a few minutes before reading your post. Now, I feel the need to get on the elliptical and just push through it. What a great blog that I think many of us can relate to. I always love reading your posts as they fill me with determination to better myself! :)
Wow! I love this post so much! I'm struggling with getting myself to run, and your post is inspiring! I actually feel like maybe I can get past this 1 mile, out of breath, feeling! I'm starting with power-walking at the moment and moving back up to jogging/running. I just know that I need to get my lung function as high as possible! Thanks for sharing..I feel inspired! :)
Awww, thank you for sharing! She is just so beautiful! I love to see pictures. Looks like you all had a wonderful and fun Easter! :)
Congratulations on your PFTs! Those are AWESOME! I totally love how you view it as a game; I think that's the perfect explanation. I also agree with you about statistics..we shouldn't focus on them because they only limit us.
I totally agree! I actually think varied levels of exercise strategies and programs are needed to be presented more often. You do a great job of this, but I think our doctors should include this in our treatment plan on a regular basis.
I'm thankful for your workout challenges! I think they're a great way to motivate fellow cysters and fibros! Thanks for posting them!
I love your attitude. You are a true role model for all of us with CF. I will sadly admit that I have my very rare days (once a year or less) where I get upset and think that having CF is incredibly unfair and a real burden. Then, I realize all of the blessings I have because of my CF, and I perk up again. I also feet that I will not die because of my CF. I see my challenge as living a full, Christian life every single day. Some days, I don't do so well. My challenge is not my CF. :) Thanks for being such a positive voice in our community!
