For inspiration, I check out Morning's Light (http://sunnysblog.typepad.com) and French By Design (http://frenchbydesign.blogspot.com). I don't use them for specific product recommendations, more for general vision and some "ooooh, that looks so comfortable/me/uncomfortable/beautiful/perfect/impractical."

Fabulously Broke in the City : How I am Shopping Smarter: Cataloguing my clothing onto my iPod Touch

I definitely find it much easier to decide what to keep once I see things categorized. I don't know that I would use a photo inventory much for shopping, but I think it's a good idea (and great way to maximize the ways your iPod can make life easier for you). Once I'm "done" (I'm never really done) paring down my wardrobe, I plan on inventorying my things on my blog. I am totally sold of the idea of taking pictures on me, rather than on the floor or on a hanger! Thanks for showing the outtakes! Also, do you mind sharing who makes/where you got "cozy gray sweater"? (the belted one)

Fabulously Broke in the City : Toronto Miscellany: Cool, funny and weird things I saw and found

I'm cracking up at your commentary, particularly on the plates. (I'm a vegetarian, so I'm not eating most of those things, but it does look like that's what they're serving up for dinner!) Once you try out the concealer, let us know what you think. I mainly use cream concealers (Bobbi Brown); I've never had a liquid one that you apply with fingers (or at least not a wand or something).

Well-Heeled, With a Mission : A Beginner's Stab at Minimalism

Your eight steps seem really constructive, thoughtful, and customized! I've been reading about minimalism in other people's lives for a while, now I'm beginning to take action. I'm excited that you're sharing your journey!

Fabulously Broke in the City : December 2010 Budget Roundup: +$20,355.57

I appreciate the net worth posts! I think it's important for people to be financially self-aware, regardless of their income level. These posts show that you're conscious of what's going on; spending and saving are not mindless activities for you. It would almost be a little misleading to stop while you're doing well financially, as if robust numbers suggest that one shouldn't have to pay attention anymore (though I understand that wouldn't be why you'd stop, "discord" would be the reason). For your sake (as the blogger), I think it's nice that you have a log/diary of sorts by including the Assets & Debts categories. As a reader, I focus primarily on a) where you splurge & where you save (and how you make decisions regarding those) & b) the different tools and techniques you use for keeping track of your financial health. I hardly notice the bottom line! Lastly, I think there is something very personal about seeing how people spend money. The net worth posts demonstrate two things that I like about your blog (and any blog, really): you share enough details for the reader to get a sense of who you are and what you value while simultaneously being practical/applicable enough for readers to extract useful inspiration for their own objectives. I vote keep them!
