So beautiful! Glad you got away!!! The sky was so blue and the water so clear. I loved the photos of the huts (?) right by the way. And yes, bring that beautiful big chair home!

The pale-skinned craze in Asia is just about as bad as the American craze to be tanned. Just goes to show that everyone's definition of beauty is different and that we shouldn't be judged by our skin color. I'm so sorry you were picked-on in school because of your darker skin. Glad you are a proud adult now though! Go girl. Loved this post. Let us start to accept people for who they are, not what they look like.

Cute V Day dinner! How fun! And I'm weird & love going to the dentist. I just love that clean feeling. Mostly because I had such bad teeth and inconsistent insurance growing up. Now that I've got steady insurance, I'm using it to the full advantage!

So nice what happened at the airport. I believe what goes around comes around too. You get back what you put out into the universe. The amount of generosity you show others is the amount shown to you.

So interesting about pointing with their lips! I wish we didn't have to tip in America. It's gotten out of hand in the last few years. 15% used to be good enough, now people thing 20% is the new standard! And if I don't tip well because of bad service, then I'm called out for being a woman & Chinese (because apparently they don't tip well). Grrrrrr. I loved J Law in Silver Linings Playbook. She was so cuckoo, it was awesome.

What great views and a great place to take a moment for yourself. I am kinda a morning person, meaning that I'm more of a morning person than my husband ;). That said, since I've had kids, I've become more of a night person, staying up until midnight, because that's when I get "me" time.
