I can imagine that all the changes in routines and the different events that happen towards the end of the summer term as the holidays approach can be very difficult if that routine is what helps your child to feel secure. Hope that you are managing to make this transition as easy as possible without too many meltdowns xx

I love the calmness of this shot. They just look so content to be sitting there :-)

He looks very thoughtful up there. It does look high up though!

Wow you had a lot of snow. I love how pretty the trees look when they have snow on them :-)

I don't think I've ever seen an Axolotl before. It certainly is very interesting-looking. I can see why Star was fascinated by it.

Sorry to hear that you've had bad news this week Anne, sending a virtual hug your way. I've never seen the Nutcracker but it's one I'd love to see one day. What a lovely birthday present from your friend and how wonderful to get to see it from the front row. It sounds like it was a wonderful ballet to see x #WotW

It has been so cold. I can imagine you'd get colder in a wheelchair. I've been putting a blanket around Jessica when she's in her buggy to help keep her warmer. Facebook has its downsides but I do love how good it can be for reconnecting with people. I'm in touch with old friends from my childhood days that I would never have managed to make contact with otherwise. Love the sound of your crocheted blanket - sounds like it will be perfect to snuggle under in the winter. #WotW

Poor Star, hope her wrist heals quickly. I've definitely noticed a difference when it comes to our cardiology outpatients appointments - we've had a lot more waiting around and its felt a lot more disjointed. I can't fault our experience on the ward itself though - even with the cancellations that we've had for Jessica's surgery. The NHS is under so much strain at the moment though and it does worry me hugely about what is going to happen with it. #WotW
