You\'re right - people who are abused are NOT responsible for their suffering. But that miserable 40-year-old certainly HAS the power to change his or her outlook on life. I know this, because I did.

Some of life depends on what you\'re born into, of course. But regardless of the \"luck\" you have when you\'re born, you have the power to change your attitude. People who use the past as an excuse to stay mired in misery aren\'t doing themselves any favours. We can\'t use our past as chains that keep us bogged down in misery.

We can just agree to disagree on this topic, and that\'s okay. It takes all types of folks and beliefs to make the world the place it is!

Oh, Amanda. I feel you and feel for you. I wish I could hug you right back! I know that would help us feel better in our lonely moments!

Absolutely not! Please don\'t listen to her. That is absolute crock. Listen to your gut and stay where your heart wants to be!

Hi Dena,

Since your son passed on, this might be harder information to get than for those of us who are in the physical world. I would suggest getting in touch with your son (via a medium or yourself, if you\'re able) to ask him who his guides were in his recent life. <3

Absolutely, Mary! We all know children have lively imaginations. But in this case, I really do believe imaginary friends are actually spirits/souls the children are seeing and communicating with.

Best wishes on your intuitive development, by the way!

Hi Kayla,

Matt isn\'t your spirit guide - he is a soul who is with you and you can certainly ask him for help and he can be a support. But the people we know in this lifetime and then pass away do not become our spirit guides. I hope this helps clear it up. I\'m glad he contacted you - very nice!

I can TOTALLY related to the sleep deprivation! Evelyn is such a happy baby, but she doesn\'t much care for sleep at night. Or so it seems. I\'ve never been more tired in my entire life, but I\'ve also never been happier.

It sounds like your son is just as big a teacher for you as you are to him. What a gift! It just keeps on getting better.
