Glad Barkley missed all of this ... clearly you can tell that I'm a newbie on your blog since I didn't know this. :-)
The last time I visited Toronto was 20 years ago, I was 6-7 months pregnant with my precious daughter. Needless to say, my visit was a little less active. I do remember an incredibly delicious brunch ... so yummy & fresh that I remember what I had to this day (i.e., seafood omelet, muesli, etc.). Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of it. I believe it was a Swedish(?) restaurant that started with an M (that has changed management a few times since then). Do you have any idea what restaurant I am referring to?

First visit to your blog & first comment! :-) So glad to have discovered your blog today (via your link in your comment on an ApartmentTherapy.com post). I've enjoyed your writing style, decorating adventures & Craigslist finds! LOVE Toronto ... such a beautiful, vibrant & intriguing city! I must visit again soon.
I'm so sorry that you & your family had to endure such nonsense. I hope Barkley wasn't in your condo during that flooding. It amazes me how someone can be so indignant, brash & self-righteous knowing full-well (& knowing that you know full-well) that they are lying on every level possible. I know you made a deal; but, I want justice served. Hopefully, you exited that place without further foolishness (although that last fiery, disturbing image makes me think otherwise). Please share the rest of this story ... another chapter (or two) to come, perhaps?
