Hi Nicole! I am so glad to be linking up again (finally) with you. It's been way too long. Since having my daughter I haven't really been keeping up with reading my favorite blogs, so I am excited to go back and read yours to find out how you're liking your new home. Horse back riding lessons sound like so much fun, and I can't wait to see what you create for your babies for their Christmas presents. :)

I hear ya, I basically live in leggings and skirts/dresses too. I need to go get some more. But that would involve shopping with both my kids so...

Have a fun trip, hopefully your flights will go great and the boys will be little angels for you ;)

Crying now. So beautiful and so true. Thanks for sharing Jessica, and putting into words what we all feel as mamas!

crying now. I feel this exact way and mine's only 6 weeks. just another reason I'm so glad I blog because I feel like it helps me remember all these little moments that I would otherwise forget. and btw, don't feel like you have to make excuses for sleeping with him! you only have this little window to snuggle that squishy little body close to you all night. no one could keep me from sleeping with baby girl no matter what. I'll blink and she'll be grown up, I'm savoring this little bit of time I have with this perfect baby version of her. xoxo

Okay this post illustrates the number one reason I'm glad I live in Alaska: SCORPIONS!!! AND OTHER CRAZY BUGS/SNAKES. I am terrified of daddy long legs if they crawl on me, I would flat out lose consciousness if I even saw a scorpion anywhere near me or my child. Poor Poor Poor Dac and poor you and Luis :(

Also those pics of them playing together...so cute! And it's soo funny about having Dac to entertain Piggy, we say the exact same thing about baby number two. My husband is always looking at my belly and saying "hurry up and come out!" when Riggs is wearing us out wanted to play in the evenings ha.

So exciting about your new back yard, it sounds amazing! We need to expand our deck at some point, and a firepit is a must when we finally get around to it. I want to sit out there with Steve after Riggs is in bed in front of the fire and cuddle up and talk about everything.

Also, Baby Mine is a very sweet song (especially when you see the lyrics written out like that) but I am seriously traumatized from that movie (have been since I was a kid) and how he gets taken away from his mom when she's just protecting him and everyone is being soooo mean! I cry (like, SOB) every time I try to watch it haha.

Amen girl, preach! I feel like I could have written this (except I haven't done the tandem nursing thing). Thank you for not holding back from writing this due to the whole 'political correctness' thing you mention, it's important people know how hard moms work to breastfeed!

PS hope you get some rest this weekend!!
