I have a VERY hard time reading a whole series straight through, so waiting or not waiting wouldn't make any difference for me because I'd still probably take a few years to read it. However! I guess I don't really count ebooks as "real" TBR books? Their lack of physical presence means that reading one is a bonus rather than something I have to work towards (climbing Mount TBR is much easier when half of it isn't staring me in the face). I DO keep track of all my ebooks, though-- I use Calibre, which has tags and things that lets me keep mark unread books vs. read. I don't know how much of a pain it'd be for you to import all your various books into another application, but at least they'd all be in one place! Which might help? I'm already behind on Alcatraz, but I liked the first episode(s) I saw! Mainly I was impressed that the main detective character was a lady, lol. I feel the same! If I don't know you well enough how will I know what sort of book you'd enjoy? Plus, whenever people ask me questions that require me to remember large amounts of info, I invariably end up forgetting that info anyway. So I'm no help either way. I suppose what I should do is just try to remember one really good book and recommend that all the time. It could work!

I think I'm basically reading the same kinds of books I was reading five years ago, only there's more of a mix between age brackets. I recently got rid of a ton of books myself-- I'd stockpiled them through library books sales and while at the time I thought I'd read them pretty quick, I actually hadn't read all that many of them. I didn't see myself reading them within the next year or so, so I got rid of them! I also have an ereader and I've been stockpiling freebie books on it for a while now, haha! I feel less bad about those, though, because they're free and don't take up much room. I DID delete a few I knew I'd never read, though! It's nice to clean out the TBR shelves somethings, I think.

Exactly! It's not like someone goes to a sex ed class, learns about condoms, and suddenly decides to go out and have sex the next day. If they DO, though? At least they know how to protect themselves and their partner!

When I first started using Twitter I was SO. NERVOUS about talking to famous people/favorite authors/etc. But eventually, after doing it for a while, I've gained more confidence and now I tweet at everyone! Even if they don't tweet me back! (When they do, though, it basically makes my day.)

Yay! I was wondering when the rereleases were coming out! :D Also: I didn't know they were updating stuff, although that...sort of makes sense. I mean, the fashion is still totally dated (right?), but I can understand updating the technology. I think I still have some of the old Mixx single issues sitting around somewhere. It'd be neat to compare the two (if I can find them, anyway).
