This is excellent. I agree with Erin. If you are talking from day one - the talking happens naturally, which leads to questions answered naturally. Having two boys, I am forcing myself to use language that relates to their adolescence. The more I use the language, the more comfortable I feel. The more comfortable I feel, the more comfortable the boys feel. Just like Dora keeps swimming, parents need to keep talking.

I went years without carrying a purse. I think for me, my paranoia focuses on whether or not I left my keys in the car. I have done it several times. Not a good thing. :)

Lately, I've mixed up your and you're. I attribute the mistakes to laziness and fast typing. When I notice it, I get cranky. Really cranky. In my opinion, texting has taken grammar and punctuation to a new level - a very low level.

Our two are 17 months apart - your pictures remind me of their infant/toddler years. I loved the early bonding the two shared. And, we are huge fans of Dinosaur Train. I immediately started singing the song the instant I read your reference to the show. Please send help. :)

I might get bombed for saying this, but I liked the quote. It reminded me of what Mitt Romney said in FL:
"A competitive primary does not divide us, it prepares us and we will win."
Competition requires preparation - preparation makes one better. (Can be used for either party.)

This is a fun list, Lavern. And I agree - a better education system reaching everyone would be a wonderful thing. I have faith it is in the future. Here's to your RV trip coming to fruition, too. (I'd quite enjoy that kind of travel.)
