Your handwriting is amazing! =) I've used sticky notes, but still too scared to write in them. Though wouldn't that be neat for my kids or grandkids to find one day, my thoughts in my books? Assuming they don't just throw them all out, ack.

Sounds like an amazing trip! Hope you and your family have a fantastic time. I've never written in a book either, so I understand the fear. If I'm ever an author someday, I'd love to do an annotated copy as a giveaway sometime. I got one from an author, and it was a lot of fun to get that insider's look.

Wow, both are really great covers! Very bold, and I love that light blue title against the grass for the second book.

No, I'm about halfway through. I'm really enjoying it, but it just seems like there's no time to read here lately! Just finished finally putting up the Christmas decorations, then it's vacuum, supper, kidlet's bath- it never ends! =)

I bought Jackaby b/c it was gorgeous. I've only read a few pages so far, but the writing is very lyrical. But yeah, I totally just want to sit and stare at the cover. =)

Oh, Kelsier. Doesn't Sanderson just kill you emotionally w/this series? But it IS SO GOOD. And you posted the sweet cover! Mine are some yucky typical fantasy covers, where Vin's looking all sexy on them in some sorta weird leatherish get up. Though there is another cover where she's also in black, but like in mid-jump, and looks pretty awesome. Can you imagine if they made a movie out of this? My life would then be complete. =)

My son has this one, and then the second one where Little Blue visits the city. I actually like the second one better. The illustrations of the buildings and the various activites in the city really appeal to me. They're definitely great board books, and I agree should be in every kiddo's library! =)

Ooh, #2 looks like some great fantasy! And I love those Jane Austen books, very eye-catching. I'm slowly working my way through Pride & Prejudice right now.

That first book has one gorgeous cover, I could just sit there and stare at it. Also, love the cover for Hold Still, the sense of motion it engenders is pretty amazing. And A Monster Calls- I have so got to get on the ball and read this. I loved his Chaos Walking trilogy so hard.
