On Immunity sounds fascinating, and I find the anti-vaccine movement to be truly bizarre. They argue that "herd immunity" will keep their children healthy, but herd immunity only works if everyone is immune! If enough people refuse vaccination, that herd immunity is lost. It seems unfair to rely on the responsibility of other parents vaccinating their children to keep your own children healthy, rather than making the responsible choice yourself.

(However, I've never gotten the flu vaccine. I've never been vaccinated against it, and I've never gotten the flu. It may be irrational, but I'm more afraid of needles and having symptoms after the shot than of actually getting sick.)

I really enjoyed this book! Kate is such a hot mess, but it kind of made me love her.

Most of the reviews of this book seem to be a bit mixed; people seem to generally like it but have issues with the magical realism. I think I might just stick to Rowell's YA or listen to this on audio. Thanks for the review!

I do most of my blog reading and writing on the computer. Like you said, commenting on mobile is really difficult, and typing and formatting posts on the computer is much easier. I do occasionally take notes on my phone while reading, but it's mostly just noting a page number if I don't have sticky flags to hand.

I don't have a tablet, and I rarely use my basic Kindle.

I also keep up on Twitter and Instagram on my phone.
