I’ve been in NY almost 4 months and I agree with some stuff. Shower curtain is so dead on. But I disagree about the getting gussied up. I’m from LA (never been to Atlanta) But people in NY are fancier than LA. Unless you are going to a movie premier, LA is so much more laid back in style than NY. People in LA don’t wear fur anything. Not like NY. It is nice to see the perspective of NY from a new NYer like myself. I was talking more of the QLC about people not knowing the direction they were going in their life. I didn’t mean it as anyone that has gone through something serious like death, depression or cancer. I don’t take those issues lightly but I guess I see them more as life issues, issues that can happen to anyone no matter their age. Also my 20’s were fun but they were not always roses and kittens. I just choose not to share some of the things that I’ve gone through in my life. I commend people that do but that’s not me. As you said “The QLC can hit you whether you’re 25, 32, or 19. It knows no age, just that your life isn't going according to plan.” That was somewhat my point as well. A crisis isn’t age specific. There is no right time to ever have to deal with life handing you a giant load of crap.
