Wow! You guys are all poets! I have to say the kitchen/family room areas are my favorites along with the outdoor patio because I love being out in nature & smelling the pines & fir trees is a lovely way to spend the evening after a family BBQ. I can see the grand kids running around with the Goldens playing tag while we grownups enjoy a glass of wine or a beer. My Golden girl Lola is 1 week away from having puppies! Today we go in for xrays to find out how many little darlings we have down there. :-) I am very excited!
I second the motion! That has been a pet peeve of mine for several years. We have always had a King bed in our master suite & now also have King beds in our guest bedrooms. We are tall people & need stretching room :-)
My biggest concern is how much it will cost to heat it in winter with all that glass! I live in Phoenix & we have double pane windows & I'm still cold some nights! Better have lots of goose down comforters, folks.
Minitoni, you sound like my kind of people! We show Goldens & have had therapy certs on most of our dogs. Our CH girl is PG right now & I hope to certify her so we can go to Ronald McDonald House when the puppies are weaned. They are really a great organization & they love it when the dogs come to visit the kids! Most of the kids are out- patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital.

I love the kitchen! I can just see myself baking cookies with my two grand kids on that big island! The colors are so cheerful and bright. They just add to the sunshine streaming into the windows.

Are there public beaches at the lake that allow dogs? My Goldens do love to swim! We used to have lake property on Lake Pend Orielle in North Idaho & they had a blast playing in the water. Looking forward to your answer.
I have not seen answers to my comments & I keep getting my password rejected when I try to sign in to the blog! Yikes! My questions were about whether we could fence the yard since I have Golden Retrievers & I don't particularly want them chasing golf balls down the fairway. Are there CC& R's that restrict such things?. Also, what is the lot size? I'm sure it has been mentioned somewhere that I missed it. :-) I've been mostly a lurker & enjoying everyone's excitement about this fabulous house. I can just see our family up there cooling off & escaping the Phoenix summer heat! It would be such a fun place to share with our grand kids! I'd rent it out for the winters to skiers since I have no desire to be cold.
