Man, for someone that isn't a huge fan of salads, I'm changing my tune after seeing all these lovely salads in this month's roundup. I like that this one has a bit of "meat" to it (without having any meat at all). And hooray for Kim, I'm so glad you guys were paired up this month!

I love scones, especially for breakfast. The dense texture makes me think they're filling (or maybe it's because I eat four in one sitting). Aaaaaand these have fruit so extra healthy right!

A savory clafoutis!? I love it! It sounds like the perfect dish for a fancy brunch in the new year :)

This was such a lovely post and it made me all weepy (but that may be because of the sleep deprivation) :) I'm so glad Dudette chose you to be her forever family!

Yay for blueberries! I bought a giant flat recently, and turned some into bars. Obviously, the rest must be made in to compote for pancakes (which the Little Man calls Donald Duck pancakes after his favorite cartoon) :)

Heh, Dudette cracks me up. And that's solid parenting right there. You're letting her explore and be creative instead of just telling her "no" ;)

I cannot fathom why anyone would opt for stuffing over dressing. Crispy over soggy, any day! Also, I'm a huge fan of turkey bowls the day after Thanksgiving and this would make the BEST base. All of your Thanksgiving recipe posts make me so happy! :)

Love that you're already experimenting with Thanksgiving recipes. We tend to make the same thing year after year but I'm always looking to mix things up. And hey, no one can object to potatoes with cheese right?
