And whoa- 'Hamburg has more bridges than Venice, Amsterdam & London combined? How is that even possible?! I'm going to need to go back and check this out!
This is really weird, but I reading your post, I just remembered I had a dream that I saw the Nothern Lights this morning .... Strange! Haha But this looks like just the cutest little city and you've really uncovered some gems! Can't wait to find out more about this place and get to know it through you like I did Tomso! :D
I've always wanted to try traveling Europe by train, but it was just never in the cards for me. I never had enough time and always wanted to get places quickly- so finding cheap flights was always my thing. This seems like an incredible way to travel though, especially because of the scenery! AWesome info in this post!
I have to say Fauske looks incredibly beautiful and a place I'd definitely like to see one day! I can't believe there's hardly any information on Google about it! I guess that's what you can consider a REAL hidden gem these days- as many other "hidden gems" aren't really hidden anymore! Boring is relative and maybe there aren't a lot of "attractions" but like you said it depends what you're looking for. Everyone could use a good ol' dose of nature every now and again :D
This looks like my DREAM COME TRUE!!! I've always wanted to try dog sledding and well these are some of the cutest dogs I've ever seen! I really like that they stress the wellbeing of the dogs too! :)

Ahhhhhh I've heard SO much about this place and it's been on my bucket list for SO long! Seriously the coolest thing ever! I love that it changes every year and that artists design the rooms so they're never exactly the same. I have to say .. not wishing it was winter over here though .. because well, it is winter hahah :D Awesome photos and even cool video :D
I love traveling by boat! You get to see so much! This is such a fancy ferry and looks like a great way to travel :D
