Those oranges look juicy and delicious... they're almost in season now hey? You asked about the separators I used to package those cookies... my Mom had sheets of printed parchment paper that were about 8x8 inches, so I cut them down to size using pinking shears. WHAT! No candy canes? You're crazy :-) I love 'em. My fave movie is "The Santa Clause" with Tim Allen, music is the song "Baby It's Cold Outside" and I don't care who sings it, fave decorations are the ones that have been in my family for 3 or 4 generations, fave presents are my stocking (so many all at once!) and fave food definitely NOT egg nog either. Blechhhhh. Loved this post!

Oh my goodness that oatmeal looks INSANE. Pecans have to be my favorite of all the nuts... and I definitely don't eat them often enough! Last winter I couldn't get enough of oats but for some reason I haven't craved them yet this winter... I bought mint chocolate soymilk yesterday though, so I'm hoping that will change. I think oats cooked in that stuff would be amazing!

I love this... my Mom started blogging a year before I did and she kept telling me that the commenting part was really hard for her. We both agree that we'd rather get no comments at all then get ones that are like "I love XXX. Great post!" You know, just commenting for the sake of commenting and not giving a single thought to what you've written. It's almost insulting - as if they think you can't tell that they didn't actually read it. Does that sound harsh? I can't decide...

I feel like Lisa's comment above is everything I'm thinking right now, minus the doing it for a living part. It seems like saying you want to lose weight is totally scandalous in the blog world if you're of a reasonable size, but what women doesn't want to lose 5 lbs (even if only deep down inside)! I hope you don't feel bad for writing about it, because I'm interested to read it! I know that whenever I do one of my "eat only the things that are good for me" cleanses, writing about them helps me reflect on my choices immensely!
