I think most of us can relate to the in-law/out-law ordeal. My own family was fractured, but mostly because of distance. Both sets of grandparents got along very well, as did all the cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. Growing up moving all of the time didn't help either and it set the standard for me in relating when I married myself. My mother-in-law never accepted me. She acknowledged our sons, but wouldn't our daughter...a direct dis against me I imagine. Sometimes people can be so petty. He wasn't as advanced as he needed to be to see what was happening between us, even though I tried to explain it to him. New partner is so similar, it's almost scary. He's 10 yrs. older than last guy & very very open. He & I are both number 7's and have discussed this at great length. We have similar lessons and we both know it.
