This is when the Brotherhood kind of is introduced in a fuller way, but they have been mentioned before: 1. Season 1 when Ned takes Robert's place on the throne and sends Beric Dondarrion off to fight the Mountain's pillaging of villages. (Beric's homies become the Brotherhood at this point.) 2. Season 2 when the dude in Harrenhal was torturing people (the rats in the buckets!!!), he was asking about the whereabouts of the Brotherhood because they are considered rebel enemies of the Baratheon throne.

I have no problem with people disliking the show. I have no problem with people disliking the show. I have no problem with people disliking the show. I have a problem with people disliking the show, even though they've never seen it, because a bunch of people said that they shouldn't like it. I have a problem with people just saying with abandon that clearly Hannah is Lena Dunham. It implies that Dunham isn't a creator, that she only knows how to write about herself (which I'm sure you know is a common accusation leveled at female creators). I'm fine with honest criticisms of her work and even her, as a person (though I'd take the latter with many grains of salt). But only if it's given fairly--and it typically isn't.

Seriously. Everyone is suddenly a fucking A+ television critic when it comes to Lena Dunham. I'm tired of everyone on their high horses acting like television shows need to be full of likable characters (hello? have you even looked at the shitheads you guys root for in other shows?), or acting like Lena Dunham intends for Hannah to be likable and is just too DUMB to realize that she isn't. Get it together. Maybe read one of her interviews or something before you start acting like you know what's going on in Dunham's head without having done any research on the damn matter. So fucking tired of it. Anyone who says that this isn't about her being a successful young white woman is lying. LYING. I don't see anyone ripping apart Jerry Seinfeld for making 30-something New Yorkers sooooo unlikable.
